STORY
When you enter the Orangery at Castle Ashby, it’s as if you’ve stepped back into another time. One this day, little did I know that it would be one of the last time’s I remember the world as it was before the global pandemic claimed our freedoms. We sensed a change coming but we didn’t know what. Seizing the opportunity to take a day to play dress-up, we created some of my favorite images in this magical space. When Fefe put on this dress, she talked about her wedding day. As I laced up the back of her dress, I imaged doing this for her on her wedding day. What a surreal moment. Standing back, I captured this image. A moment suspended in time, caught between different worlds. I’ll forever look at this and feel bittersweet. The letting go and look towards what is unknown. Therefore, seize the day! Find the magic in these moments before they’re gone.
